Well I got friends sitting around right now just talking about all their plans. Saying,"man, I'm gonna change the world just as soon as I get my chance." But chance don't dance with the people that stand there waiting on a chance to dance and come tomorrow they got nothing to give but some day old, discount plans.
I got other friends who, in my opinion, are all working way too hard. But they got a lot of things and they got a lot of space, so they're doing pretty good so far. Plus, they're in love and they know they are because they married some hometown sweetheart, but on the weekend they get drinking and they start thinking, "maybe this has gone too far."
So every night I'm more confused, another idea of what to do; I don't know which way to go because all that I see are young dreamers and old drunks, people who work too hard and people who talk too much. Now, I don't know what's better, I just know that I don't want to be stuck, being a young dreamer or an old drunk.
Well I got 376 friends, it's on the internet so I know that it's true. And I like to think that every last one of them really cares about the shit that I do. As for me I don't care too much about most but I still got to see what they're up to. So with every picture or post, the thing I question the most are the choices that I've had to choose.
Now my biggest problem is I've got nothing to blame, I am a fortune son, yes I know. But I got friends with beautiful wives and husbands and beautiful houses they get to call home. I also got friends sitting on islands, just hanging out watching all their food grow. Now, I know I'm lucky but I can't help but think, "well I'd take either of those."
